Requirements for Acknowledgement of Documents

The appropriate documents must be accomplished and brought to the embassy. NO APPOINTMENT is required and you will be attended on a “first come-first served” basis.

  • Original and duplicate (or photocopy) of the document(s) to be acknowledged.  The Embassy will retain the duplicate.
  • Personal appearance of the executor/signatory of the document.  The original document must be signed in the presence of the consular officer/staff.
  • At least three (3) photocopies of the executor/signatory’s valid identification, which bears his/her photograph and signature (passport, residence card, driver’s license, etc.)
  • Cash payment of processing fee for each document (Consular Fees)

The acknowledged or notarized documents signed by the consular officer may be collected after three (3) working days.
