The Philippine Embassy in Spain and Migrant Workers Office-Madrid attended the event organized by the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB), the BBVA Microfinance Foundation and AECID entitled “ Women at the helm: three decades of progress and challenges in gender equality ”, on 24 February 2025 at the SEGIB Conference Room in Madrid.
The event which was organized within the framework of the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women and the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action 1995 ( Beijing+30 ), aims to recognize their achievements and the progress in the gender equality agenda over the last 30 years.
