Ambassador Philippe J. Lhuillier made an exclusive visit to the Real Fabrica de Tapices in Madrid upon the invitation of Director General Alejandro Klecker de Elizalde on 14 May 2025 for possible project collaboration.
Director General Klecker gave a grand tour of the facilities and services provided by the factory, including their exhibit, weaving of the looms, restoration and garden.
Ambassador Lhuillier was accompanied by Consul Dyan Kristine Miranda-Pastrana, Head of the Embassy’s Cultural Section.
The Real Fábrica de Tapices de Santa Bárbara is a factory making tapestries in Madrid, Spain, which was founded in 1720 and is still in operation.
