28 March – The Philippine Embassy in Madrid reported to the Department that the Philippines participated in the 4th Dive Travel Show from 24 to 25 March 2012 in Pabellon de Cristal, Casa de Campo in Madrid.
Philippine participation on the dive fair was coordinated by the Department of Tourism in London (DOT-London).
The Dive Travel Show is an annual event organized by the magazine Buceadores and its partners. It brings together diving aficionados, tour organizers, diving equipment and accessories companies, and travel agencies in one venue.
Philippine participation in this year´s Dive Travel Show saw the launch of the new tourism logo of the country – “It´s more fun in the Philippines”. There were three participating tour operators from the Philippines which joined the Philippine booth, – Sampaguita Dive Resort, Atlantis Dive Resort and Buceo Filipinas.
Buceadores announced that the Philippines is their tourism destination for 2013 during the cocktail reception they organized for participating exhibitors at the Dive Travel Show on 24 March 2012.
