Philippine Embassy Madrid Conducts Consular Outreach Mission to San Pedro de Alcantara, Malaga

31 March 2014 – The Philippine Embassy in Madrid conducted a consular outreach mission to the coastal town of San Pedro de Alcantara in the southern province of Malaga on 29 and 30 March 2014.The 6-person consular team led by Second Secretary and Consul Susana L. Mendiola, processed a total of 340 transactions. Of the 340 transactions, 247 were passport applications, 21 dual citizenship applications, 39 NBI clearance applications, and 33 miscellaneous services (report of birth, special powers of attorney, etc.). The consular team also attended to consular queries and other ATN-related matters.

 

There is an estimated 2,200 Filipinos living in the Autonomous Community of Andalucia, with some 1,500 of them living in the coastal towns of Malaga, Marbella and San Pedro de Alcantara.
