24 July 2012, Madrid – The Philippine delegation to the Manila Metro Line 1 Extension, Maintenance, and Operation Project Investor´s Briefing composed of composed of DOF Undersecretary John Philip Sevilla, DOTC Assistant Secretary Jaime Raphael Feliciano, PPP Executive Director Cosette Canilao, DBP Manager for Banking Investment Nicolas Chua and IFC Counsel Adviser Lulu Baclagon with Ambassador Carlos C. Salinas, Deputy Chief of Mission Celia Anna M. Feria and Commercial Attaché Karen Althea P. Antonio visited the Metro de Madrid´s operational, safety and security control headquarters located in the Alto de Arenal metro station in the outskirts of Madrid.
The delegation was received by Mr. Tobias Zisik, Managing Director for Strategic Planning and International Development, Mr. Álvaro Ruiz, Manager for International Business Development Department, Ms. Antonia de Oñate Lázaro, Institutional Relations Department, Mr. Javier Otamendi, Vice-Director for Institutional Relations.
Mr. Zisik gave a video and power point presentations highlighting the history of Metro de Madrid, its important developments, its current projects.
