OVERSEAS VOTING FOR THE

2013 SENATORIAL AND PARTY-LIST ELECTIONS

 

The Philippine Embassy in Madrid wishes to inform registered voters in Spain that the overseas voting for the 2013 Senatorial and Party-List Elections will begin on Saturday, 13 April 2013.

 

Voters who wish to cast their ballots may do so by mailing their ballot envelopes to the Embassy at c/ Eresma 2, Madrid 28002 or by personally dropping off their ballots in the ballot box in the Philippine Embassy.  The Embassy will be open for the purposes of voting everyday from 9 to 5 pm until the end of the voting period on Monday, 13 May 2013.

 

The ballots must be received not later than 1 pm Madrid time (7 pm Philippine time) on Monday, 13 May 2013.  Ballots received after this time will not be counted.

 

Registered overseas voters who have not yet received their ballots may contact the Embassy at 91 782 3830 or consular@philembassymadrid.com to check if their ballots are with the Embassy.

 

The list of ballots available for pick-up at the Embassy is also available for viewing on the website www.philembassymadrid.com, on the Embassy’s Facebook page Philippine Embassy Madrid and on the bulletin board in the consular section.
