Ambassador Philippe J. Lhuillier met with DMW Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac on 20 February 2025 to discuss potential areas of cooperation that will help and support OFWs in Spain and Andorra.
The Filipino migrant workforce in Madrid and Spain is diverse, with OFWs employed in various sectors such as agriculture, construction, industry, and general services. According to MWO-Madrid’s records, there are approximately 25,807 OFWs in Spain.
