The ASEAN Committee in Madrid (ACM), led by ACM Chairman and Philippine Ambassador, H.E. Carlos C. Salinas, today paid a courtesy call on Spain´s Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo at the Palacio Sta. Cruz.
Joining Ambassador Salinas in the call were the Ambassador of Thailand, H.E. Busaya Mathelin, the Ambassador of Vietnam, H.E. Nguyen Ngoc Binh, and the Chargés d´Affaires of the Indonesian and Malaysian Embassies, Mr. Erie Bawono and Mr. Ahmad Amiri bin Abu Bakar.
The ACM is one of 47 ASEAN Committees in Third Countries and International Organizations (ACTCs) around the world.
During the call, FM Margallo, Ambassador Salinas and the ACM members discussed ways on further enhancing trade and investment relations between ASEAN and Spain, as well as fostering greater cooperation in the field of culture.
