These companies are Grupo Actividades de Construcción y Servicios (engineering and construction), Abengoa (renewable energy and biotechnology), Calidad Pascual (food and beverage), Ineco (engineering and consultancy), Globalvia (infrastructure and transportation), Acciona (infrastructure, energy and water) and Indra Sistemas (consulting and technology).

In his remarks, the President cited the country´s economic achievements and competitiveness as well as the outstanding human resource as he encouraged Spanish businessmen to further invest in the Philippines.
