NBI Clearance

Getting an NBI Clearance
To all our clients in Andorra and Spain, both Filipino and foreign nationals, particularly those being required a certificate of no criminal record (antecedentes penales), please note that the processing and release of an NBI Clearance Certificate is done only in the Philippines. If you are abroad, you can claim your NBI clearance through an authorized representative in the Philippines.

Applications coming from abroad are processed at the Mailed Clearance Section of NBI, located on the 3rd floor of the NBI Clearance Building, UN Avenue, Manila. Authorized representatives are advised to proceed to this address to submit the documents. Please ensure that they bring their notarized authorization letter or Special Power of Attorney and a valid ID.

To accomplish a Fingerprint Card at the Embassy
Bring a copy of your passport and two 2″ x 2″ photos.
The Embassy’s consular staff will take your fingerprints on the NBI Clearance Application Form (Form No. 5)  for you to send to the NBI.
NO APPOINTMENT is required and you will be attended on a “first come-first served” basis.

For those outside Madrid, you may accomplish your NBI Fingerprint card at the honorary consulate nearest you.

NOTE: If you have an original NBI clearance certificate issued in the year 2014 or later, you DO NOT NEED to get an NBI Clearance Application Form from the Embassy.

Further queries and clarifications may be directed to the NBI at +63 85238231 local 5465 or email them at mailedclearance@nbi.gov.ph.
