Overseas Voting Registration Made Easier Through the iRehistro Project

iRehistro   The Philippine Embassy in Madrid launched on 3 November 2014 the iRehistro Project, an internet-enabled system for overseas voter registration. The launching came following the promulgation of Resolution No. 9903 by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC). The iRehistro Project allows qualified Filipino voters to fill out the registration form online and, to select a date and time of appointment for biometrics capturing. Following are the simple steps to accomplish the form:

1  Click on the linkiRehistro-Logo_light_2., which is also at the middle right side of the Ebassy´s website
2 Select “Fill-up Form”.
3 Fill-up the application form.
4 Select the preferred appointment date and time for biometrics capturing.
5 Submit the form electronically and then print.
NB: Please review all information before clicking on the “submit” button. Remember that you can save the application form and edit it until you have all the information required.
6 On the scheduled date and time of appointment, please go to the Embassy with the following:
a. The printed copy of your accomplished application form.
b. A photocopy of your valid Philippine passport, in additon;
– In case of a seafarer, a photocopy of his Seaman´s Book or any other pertinent document.
– In case of a dual citizen, the original or certified true copy of the Order of Approval of his application to retain or reacquire his Filipino citizenship, or the signed Oath of Allegiance issued by the Post or the Bureau of Immigration.
7 Submit the accomplished form to the VRM Operator.
8 Proceed to biometrics capturing.
