Number of affected areas

10,718 barangays in 44 provinces, 574 municipalities and 57 cities of Regions IV-A, IV-B, V, VI, VII, VIII, X, XI, and Caraga.

Evacuation centers

A total of 85,652 families (398,377 persons) are being served inside 1,526 evacuation centers. While 844,241 families (4,002,320 persons) who are not in evacuation centers, are also being served.

Damaged houses

There are currently 648,160 damaged houses (323,454 totally / 324,706 partially) tallied in the affected provinces.

Roads

As of 6:00 p.m., November 13, 2013 all bridges and roads that were previously affected are now passable.

Airports

Operations in Tacloban airport are still limited.

As of November 13, all airports under CAAP control are now operational.

Cost of damages

A total of P12,238,957,467.92 worth of damages (P1,791,321,615 to infrastructure and P10,447,635,852.92 to agriculture) were reported in Regions IV-A, IV-B, V, VI, VII, VIII, and Caraga.

In agriculture, a total of P4,863,059,634.86 in value of various crops was affected

Cost of damage to fisheries P1,981,227,277.06

Cost of damage to irrigation facilities amounted to P212,700,000

Cost of damage to agricultural infrastructure P1,208,954,200

Power interruptions

Power outage is being experienced on various areas in the following provinces:

Palawan (4 towns unrestored)

Mindoro (9 towns unrestored)

Masbate (1 town unrestored)

Aklan (16 towns unrestored)

Antique (5 towns unrestored)

Iloilo (15 towns unrestored)

Capiz (17 towns unrestored)

Negros Occidental (4 towns unrestored)

Cebu (8 towns unrestored)

Bohol (37 towns unrestored)

All in Biliran, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar

Based on NGCP’s latest inspection, 566 transmission towers and poles are either leaning or toppled and 7 substations are affected which remained unenergized

Water supply

Municipality of Barbaza, Antique, and some municipalities/cities in Capiz and Iloilo, still do not have water supply.

Water supply in areas of Leyte (17 towns, 2 cities) and Western Samar (3 towns,1 city) has been restored.

Several towns have access to water through a diesel-powered / electric-powered pump.

As of November 16, 2013, Globe, Sun Cellular, Smart, and Talk N’ Text Services have been restored in the following provinces:

State of Calamity

Presidential Proclamation No. 682 dated November 11, 2013, Declaring A State of National Calamity in Samar provinces, Leyte, Cebu, Iloilo, Capiz, Aklan, and Palawan.

A total of P387,286,801.31 worth of relief assistance was provided to affected families in Regions IV-A, IV-B, V, VI, VII, VII, X, XI, and Caraga:

Prepositioned and deployed assets

A total of 33,233 personnel, 1,320 vehicles, 107 sea crafts, 163 aircrafts, and other assets / equipment from National and Local Agencies, Responders and Volunteer Organizations were deployed to strategic areas to facilitate response and relief operations.
