On behalf of the Philippine Government and the Filipino people, the Philippine Embassy in Madrid would like to express its heartfelt appreciation for the outpouring of support and expressions of solidarity for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
Furthermore, the Embassy wishes to convey the gratitude of those affected by the said typhoon for the financial assistance and goods donated by the Spanish National Government, the Autonomous Communities of Spain, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) based in Spain, members of the business community, all other Spanish institutions, Spanish individuals, and the Filipino community in Spain.
